Adoptable Tasha, short for Natasha, is a rescue from a litter born in the swamp area behind the golf course at the Rio Mar hotel.
She is approximately four months old, long legged and lanky! She is getting up to a healthy weight after not having enough to eat.
Finding her way to a safe place wasn’t easy, but now that she is learning to trust, we are seeing she is a playful, funny girl!
She loves other dogs and she wants other dogs to love her.
She is a cuddler, and she has been sleeping in bed with her foster mom who says, “She needs a sense of security. She so wants to express herself, but she is very scared. Once she feels comfortable, she is a lovely spirit. I believe that positive reinforcement training will be best for her… as food is definitely a driver for her.”
