King was rescued along with Louie at the cemetery in Luquillo. He doesn’t potty in his room at the shelter!  He seems to be dog selective but the shelter really isn’t a great place to judge. He definitely isn’t good with cats.

King about 2 years old (DOB 2022). He is 4dx negative and is up to date on all prevention medicines.

Update: July 2024 - King is in a wonderful foster home in the Pittsburgh, PA area. He is adjusting to life outside the shelter amazingly! He is quite the charmer, LOVES attention and cuddles. Potty trained, and house trained! Only requirement is no cats or small animals. Currently weighting in at 40 pounds but he is working on losing a few pounds with his foster family, and should be closer to 35 pounds!  His foster family shared this: He had a great first night and has been a great house guest so far. One small accident when he first arrived but nothing since and managed well over night. LOVES CUDDLES! Could use some help on a leash but the harness should help and we’ll try to train him a bit. But has been very friendly to other people on our walks and non-reactive to dogs.
